Is your support 24/7?
We provide 24/7/365 telephonic support to VIP members, and our ticket support is available between 8am and 8pm Monday to Friday, and 9am - 6pm Weekends and Public Holidays. We do, however, have 24/7/365 remote monitoring on all our servers to ensure any issues are resolved ASAP.
Does your hosting come with a control panel?
Yes, all our hosting packages come with cPanel installed.
Can I upgrade my account?
Yes you can upgrade at any time via your client zone.
How long does it take to setup a new account?
Accounts will be set up immediately after payment. You should receive a welcome email with instructions on getting started within a few minutes after making your payment.
I purchased a dedicated IP, how long until it is active?
Dedicated IPs will be setup after hours on the day of purchase. This is to ensure you experience no downtime while the domain is propogating.
Do I need to transfer my domain to you?
It is usually better to keep your domain and hosting together, however, it is not required, and you can still host with us and have your domain hosted elsewhere.
Can I have additional domains pointed to my website?
Yes. All our plans allow for parked domains.
Do you offer a money-back guarantee?
Yes, we provide a 30 day money back guarantee on any hosting fees. If you registered or transferred a domain name, these fees are non-refundable but you will be able to use your domain with any other provider. If you received a free domain with your plan, we will refund all your fees less our standard fee to register the domain that you received for free.
Which payment methods do you accept?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, PayPal and instantEFT.
What billing cycles do you provide?
We provide three billing options: monthly, quarterly or annually
Do you offer a shopping cart?
Yes, our script installer (Softaculous) has a number of shopping carts available for you to install within seconds. We also provide custom website design packages for ecommerce stores.
Can I install software on my account?
Yes, our servers support PHP, Perl, Python and Node.js and the script installer has numerous scripts which you can install within seconds.
Do you offer unlimited space?
No, we do not offer unlimited space. The majority of the sites we host use less than 20GB, so our plans are usually more than adequate for most needs. Hosts that offer this usually do so using cheap disks, and often have overcrowded servers. Our focus is on quality, and ensuring that our customers always enjoy the best possible speeds and reliability for their websites.
Will my account be backup up?
We do triweekly incremental backups via JetBackup and full weekly cPanel backups on all our accounts. Clients can restore files directly from these backups via cPanel, as well as initiate backups of their account.
What servers do you run?
Our servers have high end dual Intel Xeon CPUs and enterprise grade hardware. The drives are configured in a RAID array, which provides for protection in the event of drive failure as the data is distributed across multiple disks.
How secure are your servers?
Extremely. We have set up multiple security protocols and firewalls to ensure the safety of your data at all times.
Do you offer Shell Access?
Jailed shell access or SSH is available free of charge on all of our hosting plans. This is a secured shell environment that is locked down to your specific hosting account. To enable it, please contact support after setting up your account.
Can I get root access?
No, root access is not available on any of our shared hosting plans. If you require root access with your hosting, we recommend you purchase cloud hosting.
Do you offer windows hosting?
Not at this time, no.
Do you offer discounts for non-profit organisations?
We don't charge if you're a registered non-profit organisation. Please get in touch with us for more information.
